A sound healing combined with the sounds of nature, a light breeze, and scents of smoke from a campfire combined with sensation of floating is bringing multiple healing modalities together for an extra special healing experience.
This sound healing will start at 7:30 pm- an hour LATER than the full and new moon Peace of the Planet healings. Please arrive between 15 and 20 minutes early to get settled and in the water.
The “dry” floats are above water floats (more like a floating mattress with sides) and are meant to keep you fairly dry. If you take your time getting in, remaining dry won’t be a problem. You will have assistance getting in and out and we will have towels to dry any splashes that may end up in your space. The “wet” floats (there are only 2) have a head that is slightly elevated and your bottom up to your belly-button-ish and your feet will be on a netting in the water. They will be wet. You will identify which float you prefer with your registration.
Once everyone is in the pool, the waves and movement will settle and it will be a calm rocking, if any movement at all. :)
Please park at the end of the driveway (in the cul-de-sac) or in the few driveway spaces near the house and follow the lit path to the left of the garage to make your way to the pool. There will be essential oils, crystals and homemade essential oil bug spray for you to use. There will also be essential oil bug “sticks” that will be smoking around the edges of the pool just in case. Although the bugs have not been a problem, bringing a light blanket ensures they stay off your body! Come in comfy clothes.
FAQ’s:
What is the pool temperature? The pool water has been running between 78 and 82 degrees this summer. Sometimes temporarily cooler after a LOT of rain.
How deep is the pool? The “shallow” end is around 3 feet deep and the “deep” end is only 5 and a half feet deep.
Will there be a life guard present? This is a heart driven healing event and as such (and because it is low risk), I do not anticipate the need for any life guard. No life guard will be present.
How long is the healing? The healing itself will be one hour, starting from when the first chimes ring to the end. If the start time is delayed as we all get settled, the time will adjust accordingly.
Can I bring my own float? If you have a particular float that you prefer, please contact me. We can assess on a case-by-case basis.
Is it rain-or-shine? No. If there is rain forecasted on August 8th, you will be notified and the rain date is scheduled for the following evening, on August 22nd at 7:30 pm. or another offered date. If both days yield inclement weather, or you can’t make the rain date, you can either apply your fee to the next floating sound healing later in the month OR your money will be refunded back to you.
What is the cancelation policy? Space is limited for this event. Purchasing a spot means being intentional about your attendance. If you are unable to make it, please notify me as soon as possible, so adjustments can be made. Refunds will only be addressed on a case by case basis, as I understand circumstances can arise.
